The Centre for Rural Development in Central Vietnam (CRD) was established under Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry in 1995. CDR aims to develop communities and to offer technical services in the fields of agriculture, forestry, aquaculture, health care and rural environment hygiene, to prodive short-term trainings on rural development and related areas, and to organise workshops and information exchange for the sake of rural development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction (HEPR), mainly in the Central region of Vietnam.
